Chicago artist, D. Dukes releases latest single, “Go Hard Bag”
Chicago rap artist, D. Dukes released his latest single, “Go Hard Bag” for all the hip-hop world to hear.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL Rap artist Darius “D Dukes” wasn’t always that kid that you could hang around and feel normal. Darius always had a big imagination and used it in every way. At the tender age of 6, he used a boombox and game gear to make music. While a song from a level was playing, D.Dukes would freestyle to it and record using speakers from the boom box.
Shortly after, Dukes would take his talents to school and rap during lunch and recess. His peers created a name for him, “battle rapper” as he challenged local rappers every day. Darius amazed a lot of kids and decided he wanted to make mix tapes and give them out all around school.
By the time Darius made it to middle school, he had a buzz as the guy with lyrics. Darius dropped an official mixtape when he was at the age of 13 called “Have You Heard” under the rap name “Young Darius”. Darius performed at Northwestern in the Downtown Chicagoland area and also at family reunions and parties. This was proper preparation to bring his talents higher than before.
D. Dukes grew up listening to artists such as Cassidy, Rich Boy, Young Jeezy, and Big Krit. Darius wanted to be the next Shaquille O’Neal, but his passion for music overlooked that. Darius grew up with the phrase “If You Don’t Grind, You Don’t Eat” and also “Holy, Humble, and Hungry”. Make sure to hit the play button.
Soon you all will witness the coming of “D DUKES”.
