Nashville Rapper, Lil Bre releases the visual to his latest single, ” Shut Tha Door”
Up and coming rap superstar and 19-year-old Nashville native Lil Bre, born Breion Terrance Dixon, has been making major waves ever since he was just 13 years old. He’s the second oldest sibling to two sisters and two brothers. Although his parents separated at a young age, a healthy co-parenting situation allowed for him to spend the weekdays with his mom, weekends with his dad and many summers in Trenton, Tennessee with his grandma while he worked on his new found love of rapping.
While attending John F. Kennedy Middle School, Bre would compete with his friends during lunch table freestyles which eventually caught the ear of his principal. Impressed by his talent & charisma, the principal called him down to his office and to Bre’s surprise, asked him to perform at his school’s pep rally, catapulting the future star into massive popularity among his peers.
Once the ambitious rapper got to high school, he decided to take on theater and piano classes, providing the young emcee with further technical and musical expertise. After starring in a few stage plays, he fell in love with the art of acting and made room in his heart for it right next to his love for music.
By the time he turned 16, the budding star found his way on the stage with some of Hip Hop’s biggest acts such as Migos and fellow Tennessean Yo Gotti. At 18, Bre opened up for up and coming Cash Money Records artist, Jacquees and became the first teenaged artist to be interviewed by Nashville’s major radio station 101.1 The Beat Jamz placing his gusto into the cars and homes of millions of listeners.
“If he ain’t gettin money, shut tha front door”
Now a freshman at Tennessee State University, Bre continues on his journey to greatness. He recently signed a deal with the Grammy-winning producer; Street Symphony and his production company Track or Die. The production company has worked with numerous artists, earning placements with hip hop’s elite such as 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, Meek Mill, Wale, Young Thug, Nipsey Hussle and Lecrae, just to name a few.
Bre has a true love for Hip Hop as rapping and writing is all he is impassioned to do. However, later on, in his career, he does have plans on stepping into the acting realm. But, not before he snatches his first GRAMMY.
