COST PLUS WORLD MARKET LAUNCHES “STAR MAKER SONG CONTEST” WITH JESSIE J
Cost Plus World Market has partnered with Universal Music Group and Brands (UMGB), the brand strategy division of Universal Music Group (UMG), to launch its “Star Maker Song Contest” now through Dec. 8.
Singers can enter via singing kiosks at participating World Market stores throughout the US or online at worldmarketwin.com for a chance to win a recording session in Hollywood with a top music producer and a $1,000 World Market gift card.
Through both entry sites, artists will be asked to upload a video of themselves singing “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.” The national grand prize winning performance will be chosen by GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer-songwriter Jessie J. For singers who enter in stores, there will also be a winner per store who will be awarded a $500 World Market gift card. To find the stores with singing kiosks, visit worldmarketwin.com/stores.
Jessie J’s version of “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” from her new holiday album This Christmas Day is featured on World Market’s new holiday video that tells the story of one boy’s quest to find the perfect gift: worldmarket.com/giftthoughtfully.
