International Recording Artist, Cassius Young releases the latest project,
“Came from Nothing”
Cassius Young spent his childhood growing up in and around the city of Birmingham (UK). Young is socially-active among his peers and constantly engaging in music-related past times. Cassius became well known around the Handsworth, Lozells, and Newtown areas. His lyrical concept and versatility in dynamic vocal delivery quickly set the bar amongst his peers.
Looking back, Cassius is thankful for the life lessons learned on the inner-city streets. The lessons that instill everlasting values and morals that define him as a person and artist today. Empathetically, his home life pushed him further along to his career path.
From birth, Cassius grew up listening to his Mother’s Dancehall songs. As a result, his true passion for hip-hop is born, fusing these two musical styles is what he creates.
The first official single “Came from Nothing”, is available to stream on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal. The Birmingham artist has a new refreshing sound for UK urban music. He’s greatly received from social media figures up and down the country with his “Freestyles”.
Cassius uses music as a way to express his emotions and enjoys the freedom he receives from being innovatively dope.
