Aspiring Southern Artist, J. Vicious is bringing “The Pressure” with his latest project, “Drippin Krazy”
J. Vicious, the very versatile, independent, and self-invested artist releases his debut EP, “Pressure Season.” On this album, he delivers a raw and gritty flow with a combination of wordplay. As a new artist, his only concern is to be next with a major artist. Also, be heard even though he’s new to the game – he has something to be heard.
Born In New Orleans, but raised In Mississippi on May 20th, 1983 to Betty Jean Blair and James Porter (Soulja Slim Father), JV has always loved music. As a teen, he used to recite the lyrics of Tupac Shakur and Notorious BIG songs. At that time, he knew this is what he wanted to pursue and make a career out of it.
Being raised in a small rural town like Goodman, Ms., J. Vicious learns quickly that this won’t be an easy task. There are no sources, outlets, or anything to help an up and coming artist succeed, so he packed up to seek his love for music in Louisiana where he was born.
“Growth Is Everything, I Don’t Know About You, But It Feels Good To Accomplish A Goal… Especially When You Self Invested” ~ J. Vicious
J. Vicious takes on every aspect regarding his career. Determined to make an imprint, JV starts a label, funds his entire project, and creates the beats. Topping it off with traveling statewide, he performs at several meet and greets showcases to gain new fans. Although he covers a lot of ground, he felt like it wasn’t enough. This artist is ready for everything music that includes; a bigger and better platform and working with major mainstream artists. Be sure to connect with him on social media:
