Midwest Recording Artist, Magi unleashes his latest single, “The Beauty”
Magi is a local artist/producer from Indianapolis, Indiana. His genres include Hip-Hop, Pop and Electronic music some of his influences are Lupe Fiasco, Common, and Kanye West. The new single was released less than 3 weeks ago on Soundcloud. The track was produced by Axis Beats in his hometown.
At the age of thirteen, Magi began writing music. After hearing Lupe Fiasco’s “The Cool Album,’ which influenced him to begin writing music. In late 2013, he began producing electronic music mixing it with elements of hip-hop, His main influences for this style- Daft Punk, and Flying Lotus.
From early 2014 to mid-2015, he manages and produces for the local artist. In late 2015, he decided to go back to his solo projects after taking a brief hiatus from music. Magi is a diverse artist never wanting to limit himself. His motive when making music is to “To have fun and let your imagination run wild.” There is no telling what this artist will release next.
