Texas emerging act Quon is receiving a lot of rave reviews with his new single, “Hunnid Miles N Runnin'”. To help campaign his new coming arrival, he links up with director Amir Perry to unveil the visual presentation of the upcoming hit.
With a catchy anthem hook, Quon takes us through a day in the life of his hustle in the Lone Star State. Throughout the video, the Texan is surrounded by racks stacked tall as Shaq and beautiful women, enjoying the finest cuisines that Texas has to offer.
Quon on making “Hunnid Miles N Runnin”:
“I’m a veteran in the game I just never caught a big break, just realize I’m no stranger to this.”
“Hunnid Miles N Runnin” is the leading single off of Quon’s forthcoming project, ‘One Up’. Along with the hit single, the album is slated to feature a guest appearance from the Bay Area Ambassador himself, E-40. ‘One Up’ will be available for streaming via Majestic Music.
Quon’s backstory. Quon was born in New Orleans, Louisana but grew up between Arizona and Texas. With limited music connections in Arizona, Quon became inspired by the artist Suge, a local talent in Arizona who signed to Def Jam. Early influences also stemmed from No Limit stars like Mystikal. “Hunnid Miles N Runnin'” quickly became a local success immediately upon its release earlier this year. Quon has been scouted by several Texas-based labels before landing with his Majestic Music family.
Along with director “Hunnid Miles N Runnin'”, Amir Perry is set to produce Quon entire ‘One Up’ project. With music already looking into next year’s breakout stars, they won’t be able to deny that Quon is at the glass ceiling with a sledgehammer of hits in the stable.
