Black Guvernment Music Group / Pitch Black Ent. artist, Big Gov releases visual to single, “Let Me Live”
Black Guvernment Music Group / Pitch Black Ent. presents, “Let Me Live”, is the first single to be released from Big Gov’s upcoming album, “Success Is Gangsta”. Big Gov got with the QUEEN OF R&B / TRAP herself, Neisha Ne’shae, who’s been killing the scene lately with her singles “On A Cloud”, “White Sticks”, and the new single “I’ma Go Crazy”. This “Let Me Live” record, has greatness written all over it, and with this crazy visual to further complement the song- it will be a CLASSIC.
At the tender age of 5, Gov had the experience of recording his first song. From that point on hip-hop has always been in Gov’s life. His older cousins and one particular mentor were all in rap groups together. Often times they would promise the young Gov a trip to the studio, to record with them. Through his adolescence years, Gov would find the challenge of proving his talent. It wasn’t until years later after Gov had several professional studio recordings, that they finally took him seriously. From that alone, his love for music and his passion for entertaining has enabled him to grow into a great rap artist, producer, and performer.
The effect that music has had on Gov is no coincidence to what influences him. “It’s authentic and real, that’s what I grew up on”, as Gov expresses personal feelings about old school music. With the impressions of artist such as Issac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, Rick James, and Prince the term old soul has a new place in hip-hop music.
