Hip Hop artist, MF Bliss releases the visual to his latest dope track, “Mark Of Cane”
Johnathon Morris, also known as his stage name MF Bliss, is rising star hailing from Clewiston (Harlem) Florida. As a youth, Morris never fit in with the kids and always kept to himself. Struggles surrounded young Bliss, but at the age of 7 his world was turned upside down. Morris was informed that his mother has passed away, this caused him to distance himself from the world. The only thing that Bliss could do to fill his mother’s void was run to music. Even music couldn’t save young Jonathan from a life of struggles and poverty. Shortly after his moms passing he was expelled from Clewiston High School. Poverty caught up to Bliss, so to counteract this he used what allowance he made to slang drugs on the street which eventually landed him in jail. In the early 2000s he was placed on probation and locked away. Morris’s father knew his son had something special in him, so after his release from incarceration he sent Bliss to St. Petersburg, Florida to graduate from a new high school
Shortly after graduation, Bliss realized that he wants to pursue a career of music and to show to world how serious he was. Hooking up with a local producer in palm beach county, he recorded his first demo. In 2008, he & a friend founded “Ever Since 86 Ent” which was independently owned. They released quite a few mixtapes, the label however didn’t go as planned. By November 2009, MF Bliss started a quadrant “K-Fan” which is still active today. Along the road his seriousness started paying off as more and more opportunities and achievements presented themselves.
In June of 2015 he was featured on “Funky Fresh’s Magazine Issue 2: State of The Union” Mixtape. This song entitled: “Down in The Streets”, was a single release from close friend & business partner “Monteasy”. After releasing a stunning single & video from his upcoming project, Bliss started receiving a lot of attention. Following this exposure, he has performed at many events including “J-Dub’s Brewing Company” in April of 2016. Once being dubbed at #6 on reverbnation in Tampa bay, MF Bliss has been building a name for himself since day 1. Doing features all around the city even out of country like Niagara Falls, Canada.
Hooking up with a few childhood friends, they collaborated on various tracks like: “No Rules”, “New Day” & “Solid”. Months following that opportunity, he & 1 of his label-mates took a trip to Atlanta for a radio interview. During this trip, Bliss realized this was one of the best moves he could make as he was introduced to a few execs, DJs and promoters, which in turn could assist him in building a solid foundation for his career. In early November 2016 things started falling into place, Morris was building a solid name for himself and people started to notice. People really started to pay attention to the release of his new single “I’m Gone” produced by super producer Joey Cutless.
Opportunities kept knocking as he continued to work harder and harder. A major opportunity came, and Bliss sent his song, “I’m Gone”, to an Atlanta radio station & was featured on yet another mixtape entitled: “Mystic Frequency 8″(spinrilla) which was hosted by Cool Running DJs/Bigga Rankin’s very own Tampa Mystic. After becoming a sensation for others like him, he is admired as a motivator and mentor. With latest features like “Dances with Fire” & “Looney Tunes”. plans to win the heart of all that can relate to his “pain & pleasure”. Could he be a missing link to something much greater? MF Bliss and his road to success still has more to come, but in the eyes of the people he may be considered “The Next to Blow”.
