Reuben Alexander’s video for the new single ‘Always There’ makes its debut
Reuben Alexander’s signature soul sound is highlighted by musician mastery and is a unique blend of smooth R&B, soulful funk, and pop. He creates a fresh sound of classic soul with contemporary pop essence. The foundation of the new project is based on a core collaboration with Grammy Award Winning, RIAA Platinum Certified producer Josh Stevens.
The LP “In Reality” to be released later this year, encompasses Alexander’s unique ability to reflect on human emotions with emotive and introspective lyrics highlighting love, loss, and hope. Alexander explains how storytelling and observing others including himself is at the root of all of his creative expression.

The LP is a true collaboration with Alexander enlisting other featured artists bringing a multitude of various influences to the music. Artists appearing on the record include Grammy Award Winning blues-rock phenomenon Micki Free, Thurz and renown funk musician Nathanial Phillips of PLEASURE, Jennifer Phillips from UK X-Factor.
Reuben Alexander found inspiration from listening to the classic records of Quincy Jones, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder, which is evident throughout his writing. The LP presents significant funk and soul elements, whilst maintaining the current pop appeal. He succeeded in creating a body of music that listeners can connect to both emotionally and physically. This stunning fusion of hypnotic tones and deep bass rhythms is guaranteed to get audiences moving.

While “I Can’t Stop” showcases Alexander’s more soulful smooth R&B approach; including romantic lyrics, laid-back harmonic vocals, and a sexy melody. The video for “I Can’t Stop” has received 2.6 million views to date, resulting in a successful UK tour, where Alexander opened for Beverly Knight. The single also received extensive radio play in the UK.
Reuben Alexander’s previous musical endeavor LIVIN OUT LOUD found significant success in the UK, with press labeling them as America’s “best-kept secret”. Other successes include a sold-out tour with Ne-Yo, charting in Europe and multiple singles going to #1.
